Originally from southern New Jersey, Dr. Egolf graduated cum laude from Rutgers University and earned his Medical Doctorate at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. During his medical internship with Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, he gained valuable experience in patient care and clinical practice.
Dr. Egolf’s commitment to serving others was evident during the 9/11 tragedy when he was on duty and provided care to Pentagon burn victims. This experience further solidified his dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of his patients.
During his residency, Dr. Egolf had the privilege of studying LASIK surgery under renowned ophthalmologists who had performed the procedure on world-famous athletes. This exposure allowed him to refine his skills and stay at the forefront of advancements in refractive surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Egolf is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
